Before we head off to dive the Red Sea we will spend 3 nights cruising the Nile River from Aswan to Luxor, stopping along the way to visit Temples and the Valley of the Kings.  Our luxury river boat will slowly transport us through the ancient lands of the Southern Nile. We will have the opportunity to visit tombs of Pharaohs and noblemen, including the Tomb of Tutankhamen which contains one of three original stone sarcophagi with a golden coffin.

While our dive gear is drying for its long trip back home, we will spend 3 days touring Cairo & Alexandria. Cairo is a metropolis offering visitors a harmonious blend of the past and present. Tour highlights include visits to the Egyptian Museum/Citadel/Mosque & Khan El Khalili Bazaar; the Pyramids Tour including the Sphinx-Memphis and Sakkara. Our last day in Egypt will be spent touring the ancient port of Alexandria, an ancient cultural hub and trade center.
